The Way you Talk to Yourself Matters
Your words matter. The way you speak to yourself matters.
I like to think of my brain as a sponge. If I'm constantly telling myself I hate something or that something is awful, I will surely begin to believe it! Start to pay attention to the words you use on a day to day basis and try to shift some of your negative words when you catch them coming out of your mouth.
For example, I often say I HATE airplanes. Instead, I'm working on saying "they might be a little uncomfortable, but I can handle it." Instead of saying "I'm fighting hard back against my anxiety", I'm working on saying "I'm working on ways to better myself".
Making small adjustments like this all lead to the road to a better way of living.
